Job Description
Site Engineer responsible for supervising and monitoring daily construction activities on-site, ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications and method statements; preparing method statements and technical documents; coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers; monitoring project progress and quality; and preparing site reports and records.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project (added advantage)
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work on construction site
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site
- Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements
- Prepare Method Statements, Work Procedures and related technical documents
- Follow up on material submissions, approvals and delivery
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate rectification of defective or non-compliant works
- Assist in resolving technical issues and site-related problems
- Prepare daily site reports, progress reports and site records
- Attend site meetings and follow up on technical matters and outstanding issues
- Coordinate site activities to ensure proper sequencing of works
- Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities
- Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained throughout the project
