Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Management Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about social media, content planning, online engagement, and digital branding.

As a Social Media Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing business social media platforms, creating engaging content, and supporting digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, and WhatsApp Channel 
  • Plan, schedule, and publish social media content according to the content calendar 
  • Create engaging captions, hashtags, and social media copywriting 
  • Monitor social media trends and suggest creative content ideas 
  • Assist in community management by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries 
  • Track social media performance and prepare basic reports 
  • Conduct competitor research and market analysis 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and branding initiatives 
  • Assist in content creation, including photos, videos, graphics, and short-form content 
  • Support ad-hoc marketing and administrative tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, Business, or related fields 
  • Internship duration of at least 3 months 
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and online branding 
  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and current social media trends 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Creative, organised, and detail-oriented 
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn 
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing personal, academic, or business social media accounts 
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar content creation tools 
  • Understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics 
  • Experience in content creation, photography, or video editing is an advantage 
  • Portfolio or examples of social media work are a plus
