Job Description

 Assist in Copier Reconditioning Process 

• Dismantle, clean, and reassemble used photocopier machines. 
• Replace consumables (drum, toner, developer, rollers, etc.). 
• Perform internal cleaning and testing to ensure machine quality. 

Testing & Quality Assurance 

• Conduct test prints to verify copy quality and machine performance. 
• Calibrate color settings and ensure proper paper feeding. 
• Support final inspection before machine delivery. 

Workshop Support 

• Organize and label spare parts and consumables. 
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workshop area. 
• Record daily repair and refurbishment reports. 

Learning & Support Tasks 

• Learn to interpret service manuals and error codes. 
• Support technicians in troubleshooting electronic or mechanical faults. 
• Participate in hands-on training sessions under senior technician supervision. 

By the end of internship, students will gain:

• Technical knowledge in office equipment engineering and maintenance 
• Understanding of photocopier mechanical and electrical systems 
• Experience in preventive maintenance, repair workflow, and workshop management 
• Insight into real-world service operations and teamwork

Job Requirements

• Location: Petaling Jaya (Workshop Department) 
• Allowance: RM1,000 – RM1,200 / month (depending on performance) 
• Duration: Minimum 12 weeks 
• Working Hours: 5.5 days/week (Mon–Fri full day, Sat half day)  
• Department: Technical Workshop (Copier Refurbishment Division)
