Job Description

Mad About Education group runs a variety of nature and outdoor programs for children of all ages.  We have a full time Program Coordinator and Facilitator position available. The role of the facilitator is to coordinate, facilitate and conduct programs. Detailed job description are as follow:    

• To coordinate, facilitate and supervise a variety of indoor and outdoor programs and camps for children 
• Design, explore, experiment and prepare programs and activities for children of different age group.
• Some administrative work required
   

Job Requirements

• Has a diploma/degree in Teaching or Early Childhood Education or Outdoor/Recreation or Sports Science or equivalent 
• Possess a good command in both written and spoken English.  Ability to converse and write in Malay or Chinese is a plus.   
• Possess at least 2-3 years experience in teaching or educating children. 
• Must be able to handle and work well with children of all ages.  This is a very important element that the company places great emphasis on. 
• This position requires you to be in the nature and outdoor at most times, hence you must be able to adapt to being in the outdoor environment constantly. 
• We occasionally conduct programs during the weekends hence you must be able to work during the weekends with off days on weekdays. 
• We conduct overnight camps for children hence you must be able to stay overnights during camp time. 
• Must be a team player, able to adapt well to different situations, quick witted with good leadership skills. 
• You would be required to travel to schools and centers to conduct programs hence you should have your own transportation that allows you to move around.  Travelling allowance is provided.
