At Mahes Travel & Tours, the Sales & Marketing Intern is at the heart of how we grow. You won't be making coffee and filing documents — you'll be learning how a real licensed tour operator runs, sitting in on actual sales conversations, helping close real bookings, and building skills that look incredible on your CV.

We're a licensed operator (KPK/LN 9482), MATTA-certified, Google 4.9★, based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in promoting and selling outbound tour packages to individuals, families, and group travellers
• Follow up on customer enquiries via WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook
• Support preparation of tour quotations, proposals, and travel itineraries
• Assist in outreach to corporates, schools, and community groups
• Support social media posting, caption writing, and content scheduling
• Maintain customer lead trackers and booking records

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field
• Internship placement required by university (minimum 10 weeks)
• Comfortable communicating via WhatsApp and social media
• Basic Microsoft Office and Canva skills an advantage
• Proactive, eager to learn, able to work independently
• Must be able to work on-site in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
•  Available for a minimum 10-week internship placement (intake: March, July, or October)
