Job Description

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gashapon retail outlet.
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store according to company procedures.
• Supervise and guide Retail Assistant(s) on daily duties and service standards.
• Prepare and manage staff duty rosters and shift arrangements.
• Ensure Gashapon machines are properly replenished, clean and operational.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Receive, count and verify incoming stock.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor daily sales, cashier transactions, cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Investigate and report cash, token and stock discrepancies to Management.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Gashapon machines and promptly report technical issues.
• Ensure the store, machines and displays are clean, organised and presentable at all times.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Ensure promotions, new launches, displays and merchandising are implemented according to Company guidelines.
• Ensure staff comply with attendance, uniform, operational and customer-service SOPs.
• Prepare basic daily/weekly store reports as required by Management.
• Assist with Gashapon events, roadshows or promotional activities when required.
• Perform other reasonable retail and operational duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or senior retail experience is an advantage.
• Responsible, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to lead and guide retail staff.
• Comfortable handling cash, POS systems and basic sales reporting.
• Able to perform stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, are preferred.
• Able to perform basic Gashapon machine troubleshooting; training will be provided.
• Physically able to perform normal retail duties, including stock replenishment.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts.
• Able to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays according to the duty roster.
• Punctual and dependable with good attendance.
• Interest in Gashapon, collectibles, anime, gaming or pop culture is an advantage.
  

Working arrangement 

6 working days per week / 45 working hours

Morning: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Break: 1-hour unpaid meal/rest break
Rest Day: 1 day per week according to roster
