Job Description

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts while driving sales of MaiStorage’s enterprise storage solutions, including high-performance Enterprise SSD, AI storage infrastructure, and data center storage systems.

The role focuses on developing strong relationships with enterprise customers, system integrators, and technology partners while positioning MaiStorage solutions to support AI computing, data center infrastructure, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives across Malaysia and ASEAN.


Job Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management & Revenue Growth
  • Manage and grow assigned enterprise and channel accounts to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand adoption of MaiStorage enterprise SSD and storage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and account development plan.
  • Maintain regular engagement with key customer stakeholders to understand business needs and infrastructure plans.
  1. Enterprise Customer Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with key customers including:

  • Enterprise IT organizations
  • System integrators and technology partners
  • Data center operators
  • Financial institutions and large enterprises
  • Government and GLC organizations

Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, product information, and commercial discussions.

  1. Solution Positioning & Sales Support
  • Work closely with solution consultants, FAEs, and technical teams to propose suitable storage solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Support technical discussions and product presentations related to:
    • Enterprise SSD
    • Data center storage solutions
    • AI infrastructure storage
  • Assist customers in evaluating and adopting MaiStorage storage technologies.
  1. Partner & Channel Development
  • Maintain strong relationships with system integrators, distributors, and OEM partners.
  • Support partners in identifying opportunities to deploy enterprise SSD and storage infrastructure solutions.
  • Participate in joint customer engagements with partners to expand market reach.
  1. Market & Opportunity Development
  • Identify new opportunities within assigned industries including AI infrastructure, enterprise data centers, and digital transformation projects.
  • Support MaiStorage participation in industry events, partner engagements, and technology discussions.
  • Contribute market insights on customer requirements and competitive developments.
  1. Proposal & Sales Coordination
  • Coordinate quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation for customer opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, delivery schedules, and technical support requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue achievement against assigned targets
  • Growth of assigned customer accounts/sectors
  • Sales pipeline development and conversion rate
  • Number of new opportunities identified within accounts/sectors

 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Business Administration

Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in enterprise IT sales or account management.
  • Experience in enterprise storage, servers, data center infrastructure, or AI infrastructure solutions is preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, system integrators, or technology partners.
