Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

  • Plan, manage and monitor the operation and maintenance works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

 

1.   Develop, review and execute the master plan for Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Part Replacement Program (conveyor) as well as implementation of  operating budget and managing the contract.
2.    Adhere with Company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, Quality Management System (QMS) iso 9001:2008, EMS, OHSAS and any other certifications. 
3.     Analyses cost implications of the maintenance and repair activities and recommend for budgetary.
4.    Provide guidance, advice and direction to all subordinate and to make sure they do high standard maintenance with high quality and efficiency
5.    Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilities.  
6.    Assist on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed. 
7.    Produce technical reports and analyzes of the facilities, equipment breakdowns and recommendation for improvement action
8.   Execute master plan for part replacement program and SAP System for Material Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance Module  (PM) and manage overall status of part replacement program
9.   Plan and monitor high standard of maintenance work accordance to best practices so as to ensure serviceability, reliability of facilities and cost optimization.
10. Ensure compliance with local/international regulations and legislations for safe and efficient airport operation and maintenance.
11. Acts as Internal Auditor for Integrated Management System (IMS) and participation on the improvement project.
12. Assist on investigation related to prolonged and repeated mechanical issues. To recommend a viable solutions.

Skills

Relevant Industries

Internal        
-Bachelor Degree in  Engineering Mechanical  with minimum 1 year relevant working experience.      
-Diploma in  Mechanical Engineering with 2 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role.

-Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM)

- Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C

- The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

     
External        
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Executive role.

- Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM)

- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering      
- Or  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

 
External        
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering                                              

- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above.
