Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY 

• To perform operation & maintenance task to:-
  • Ensure maintenance services performance according to Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure respond and rectification time according to Service Level Agreement
• To plan, monitor and ensure project implementation fulfill the technical specification and compliance with authority’s requirements.
• To assist project completion within the time frame required.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To plan, supervise and monitor the day to day activities of the operation and maintenance (O&M) services at all business unit.
• To plan, monitor and supervise overall implementation of project in compliance of technical specification and authority’s requirements for all business unit.
• To plan, supervise and monitor all allocation of resources for the quality implementation of the O&M Services at all business unit.
• To prepare technical and price proposal for all business unit.
• To plan, supervise and monitor the implementation and development of works related to Operation & Maintenance Services held at all business unit.
• To plan, supervise and monitor UTW business development at all business unit.
• To assist in the preparation of technical and price proposal for quotation and tender bids at all business unit.
• Assist the Senior Engineer on the management of all business unit functions.
• Identification and assist in achievement of all business unit missions and objectives.
• Development of plans and policies for the execution of all business unit.
• Responsible in the enforcement of the Safety & Emergency Action Plans.
• Preparation of monthly report inclusive of the performance of all business unit.
• To maintain and implement work quality in line with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure availability of tools and spare parts required for O&M and other projects.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior or management representative.

Key Challenges

• Adopting the best practice technique to be more cost effective and technically efficient in the O&M services.
• To ensure project completion within the time frame given.
• Liaison and coordination works with other parties to ensure smooth operation of O&M and project works.
• Assist in securing additional works and remain competitive in the market.

Skills

• Knowledge in engineering and project management field.
• Must be able to do report writing.
• Possess updated  knowledge in the latest technology in engineering field.
• Working knowledge in supervise multiple vendors and contractors.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills and results oriented.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge in maintenance and operation of electrical/mechanical installation of airports and other building facilities.

Education

• Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Civil Engineering OR
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Relevant Industries

External

Three (3) years working experience either in facilities management or operation & maintenance or building services or construction
