Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Development of the commercial master plan for airport, mainly revolving on the commercial concept and model of a particular airport. The activities will include thinking, planning and research with the purpose of introducing the latest business concept and ideas and translating it into a feasibility study. This study will be evaluated, verified and validated before presentation to the senior management for endorsement and authorization for implementation.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- To assist senior manager to prepare and obtain the necessary approval from various committee on business concepts - BPC, MPC, CCM, SPC, EXCO
- To organize and supervise Implementation of commercial master plan activities (RESET) at MA (S).
- Ensure maximization of commercial revenue through RESET at International Airport and Mini Reset at Domestic Airport.
- To assist senior manager on RESET Concept delivery in accordance to strategies comprising
- Financial monitoring (Variance reporting)
- To assist senior manager on Build product / brand offering for core business that meets customer needs and expectation and enhancing customer experience
- To assist senior manager to achieve optimum product categorization to yield maximum financial performance, enhance value proposition and elevate customer experience (Pax Fronting of Retail, F&B and Services and BOH - Storage and Office / Advertising / Car Park / Ancillary Revenues ie Casual Leasing & Promotion)
- To assist senior manager to develop and/or manage any other responsibilities /duties as required to improve the overall commercial business performance based on planning (Airport Business Modelling and Feasibility Study - Engage consultants, Development Conference / Meetings, Value management and site visits)
- To assist senior manager to Identify and build strategic relationship with new brands and/or business partners for long term partnership and business sustainability
- To assist senior manager, to drive commercial procurement policies and procedures for effective and efficient process to the business model.
- To assist senior manager to maximize commercial activities by diversifying businesses and resources - Financial Modelling for local and international projects
- To assist senior manager on Bumiputera Program - Planning of usage space, determine KLIA, creating alliance via MITI, TERAJU , INSKEN.
- To assist senior manager on monitoring contract expiry and preparation of management paper for contract renewal/extension
Education
External
- Degree Certificate preferably with specialization in Business Administration / Marketing / Retail Management / Commercial Management (Master Degree would be an added advantage)
Relevant Industries
External
- Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
