Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd factories are located strategically at Petaling Jaya and Bukit Raja, Klang in the state of Selangor.

The Bukit Raja factory produces steel bars, steel billets which are the feed stock for the rolling mill in Petaling Jaya. Both the manufacturing plants are equipped with modern equipment and are fully computerised to produce precision quality products from both the mills.

The principal activities of Masteel is in the manufacturing and marketing of high tensile steel bars, mild steel bars and prime steel billets. Masteel has a wide network of customers domestically as well as internationally.

The finished products manufactured by Masteel conforms to those required by SIRIM (MS 146:2000) as well as the ISO 9001 standards.

<li>Responsible to handle foreign worker's work permit renewal, accommodation and daily transport arrangements.</li>
<li>Facilitate and coordinate with some local authorities such as labour department (JTK) and local council to apply for certificate of accommodation for workers.</li>
<li>To ensure daily operations in HR department is carried out in smooth and effective manner.</li>
<li>To handle the full HR functions which include recruitment, employee compensation and benefit, employee relations and engagement, training and development, performance management and other related functions.</li>
<li>To monitor employee time management system and handle payroll process using HR2000 software.</li>
<li>To liaise with relevant government agencies and departments pertaining to the HR and statutory compliance.</li>
<li>To provide advisory role to management on the latest government and labor policies.</li>
<li>To report to the superior on any matters related to HR Operations.</li>
<li>To ensure safety &amp; health policies are adhered to by all employees.</li>
<li>To ensure the work permits and employment passes for foreign workers and expatriates are renewed on time.</li>
<li>To communicate closely and report any abnormality promptly to your superior or Plant’s Senior Vice President / Vice President.</li>
<li>To communicate with the expatriates and attend to their welfare and employment needs.</li>
<li>To ensure HR related reports are submitted on the timely basis.</li>
<li>To perform any tasks or assignments given by superior from time to time.</li>
