Job Description

We're looking for an Accountant to oversee the company's accounting and finance functions. This role is best suited for candidates with hands-on experience in full set accounts, financial reporting, MPERS, taxation and e-Invoicing.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis. 
• Handle month-end and year-end closing. 
• Maintain bank reconciliations and fixed asset records. 
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations. 

Cash Flow & Finance Operations

• Monitor daily cash flow and payment planning. 
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). 
• Follow up on outstanding collections. 
• Support banking facilities and financing arrangements. 

Compliance & Tax

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and banks. 
• Handle corporate tax, withholding tax, e-Invoicing and tax audit matters. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. 

Claims & Administration

• Verify sales incentive calculations. 
• Review employee claims and petty cash. 
• Ensure proper approvals and supporting documentation. 

Finance Improvement

• Support finance automation and process improvement initiatives. 
• Participate in finance transformation projects. 
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve finance processes.

Job Requirements

 What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or MIA). 
• At least 3 years of accounting experience. 
• Experience handling full set accounts and monthly financial reporting. 
• Good knowledge of MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations. 
• Hands-on experience with Malaysia e-Invoicing and MyTax Portal. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
• Experience using accounting software such as AutoCount is an advantage. 
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines. 
• Good communication skills in English and Malay.
