Job Description

 Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments via air, sea, and land.
     
  • Schedule bookings with freight forwarders and track delivery timelines.
     
  • Work with logistics and forwarding agents to ensure smooth port clearance (Port Klang, Penang, Johor).
     
  • Prepare and manage all shipping documents, including Customs Forms (K1, K2, K8), commercial invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
     
  • Handle permit applications via DagangNet, MITI ePermit, ePCO, and liaise with JKDM, MAQIS, and other authorities.
     
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and international trade laws.
     
  • Accurately classify goods under HS Codes and manage SST/duty payments according to correct Incoterms.
     
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes in import/export procedures.
     
  • Source, compare, and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines and service providers.
     
  • Evaluate the performance of 3PLs and customs agents to ensure service quality.
     
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to align shipment schedules.
     
  • Maintain accurate shipment records for compliance and audit purposes.
     
  • Generate logistics reports, including KPIs, landed costs, and shipment issue summaries.

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
     
  • 2–5 years of experience in import/export logistics, ideally within a manufacturing or trading environment.
     
  • Strong knowledge of DagangNet, MITI systems, ePCO, and eDeclare.
     
  • Familiar with HS Codes, SST, customs procedures, and Incoterms 2020.
     
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
     
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
