Job Description

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Coordination
  • Assist in planning and scheduling building projects with the Project Manager.
     
  • Coordinate daily site operations, logistics, and communication with suppliers and subcontractors.
     
  • Track work progress, material deliveries, and project milestones.
     
  • Support the procurement of materials, equipment, and manpower.
     
  1. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and manage project documents such as contracts, change orders, drawings, RFIs, and reports.
     
  • Monitor permits, inspections, and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
     
  • Maintain records of health, safety, and environmental practices according to workplace requirements.
     
  1. Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a key contact for subcontractors, vendors, engineers, architects, and site teams.
     
  • Attend project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
     
  • Provide timely progress updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.
     
  1. Financial & Resource Tracking
  • Assist in preparing budgets, purchase orders, and invoices.
     
  • Track project costs and highlight variances to the Project Manager.
     
  • Monitor labor utilization and subcontractor claims.
     
  1. Site Support
  • Schedule site inspections and coordinate with relevant authorities.
     
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site as planned.
     
  • Support quality checks and verify compliance with project specifications.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
     
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction project coordination or site administration.
     
  • Good understanding of construction methods, processes, and documentation.
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g. Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend, MS Project).
     
  • Strong knowledge of the project lifecycle within the building and construction industry.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent construction management certification.
     
  • Experience in cost tracking, procurement, and budgeting systems.
     
  • Certified in First Aid or OSHA 10/30 (where applicable).
     
  • Familiar with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AutoCAD.
