Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Mission
Run all Outlet Operations smoothly to ensure high customer service satisfaction (4/5) and high staff performance (7-10).

Key outcomes

Be the Area Manager! You cannot operate without knowing all the details of Outlet Operations

  • Know every single task of each staff and ensure accountability
  • Know Maria’s products thoroughly, including food & beverages and making of beverages & desserts 
  • Ensure all staffs follows the rules and regulations of the company
  • Manage outlet maintenance, upgrade of equipment and licenses renewal are scheduled and up-to-date
  • Ensure sufficient stock and storage space at all outlets at all times
  • Ensure sufficient crockeries at all times
  • Ensure inventory lists are updated
  • Ensure high level of cleanliness of restaurant and staff
  • Read comprehensively on beef steaks and have as advance knowledge
  • Support all marketing & operation initiatives and ensure executed accurately
  • Prepare End Reports Timely- closing, marketing, daily, monthly, etc.
  • Responsible for high staff morale – retention, counselling, crisis management
  • Handle all customer’s complaint
  • Conduct minimum 1 staff training bi-monthly per outlet, inclusive of Role Plays
  • Train staff to have the ability to upsell to increase average spending per head.
  • Complete One Audit per month per outlet
  • Manage beverage cost
  • Problem solving skills, independently

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma / Degree in Food Service / Culinary Arts / Food Management / Food Technologies / Hospitality or equivalent.
  2. Required to have minimum 3 years’ experience in managing medium to large scale semi-fine dining restaurant.
  3. Strong interest and passion in serving, have high interest to make a great dining experience
  4. Strong leadership skills, an enforcer and executer, planner, pro-active, resourceful, problem solving, decision making and result oriented
  5. Effective time management, delegation, ability to interpret financial data (Profit & Loss) and decisive on action.
  6. Humble, always ready to listen and learn from others
  7. Able to grow and develop others, a natural leader and motivator
  8. Good interpersonal skills, able to interact well with all levels
  9. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  10. Required to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
  11. Required to travel between outlets
  12. Possess a valid driving licence
  13. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  14. Preferably Managers specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
