Job Description for Service Engineer / Biomedical Engineer

• Conduct quality control inspections on equipment to detect physical damage or technical issues.
  
• Install and commission equipment at customer sites in accordance with company standards.
  
• Deliver training to customers on equipment operation and basic user-level maintenance.
  
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, implement corrective actions, and perform system testing within management-defined timelines.
  
• Prepare accurate, timely, and professional reports for internal management and external customers.
  
• Ensure efficient resolution of service repairs and prevent backlog of faulty units returned by customers.
  
• Maintain and update the company’s Service CRM database within specified time frames.
  
• Communicate customer feedback and current issues promptly to management.
  
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement service delivery improvements.
  
• Continuously expand product knowledge and strive to reduce repair turnaround times.
  
• Oversee and control the implementation of medical equipment services in compliance with contractual agreements and Ministry of Health Malaysia standards and regulations.
  
• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma / Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronic, Electronic Engineering or any related field.
  
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably with exposure to Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering industries.
  
• Ability to work independently with a strong results-oriented approach.
  
• Mature, self-motivated, and capable of performing under pressure.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with all levels of management and operational staff.
  
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  
• Technical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to interpret service manuals and technical schematics.
  
• Must possess own transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel as required.
