Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Medical Indemnity Insurance Scheme team at Marsh Malaysia. This role will be based in Pavilion Damansara office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Your role as a Senior Client Executive is to manage client relationships, responsible for maintenance and growth of the client portfolio, develop insurance solutions, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and the requirements of the medical sector and provide tailored insurance solutions.

We will count on you to:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing expert advice.
  • Consult with clients on service requirements, insurance needs and carriers, providing advice on emerging products and market conditions that impact insurance coverage.
  • Gains as a subject matter expert in specific risk exposures and/or sales areas to master knowledge in a particular area of expertise and better serve clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and secure optimal coverage for clients.
  • Monitor and manage client accounts, ensuring timely renewals and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide clients with relevant insights.
  • Manage the financial performance of your book of business.
  • Develop a business plan for your portfolio of clients and prospects to achieve specific retention and sales goals, including door-to-door marketing efforts.
  • Manages revenue and timely billing and collection (working capital) for each client.

What you need to have:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 3+ years of medical insurance industry experience.
  • Ideally, someone with business development experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Insurance Products and Services is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills with a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.
