Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and highly organized Sales & Marketing Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in both B2B/B2C sales and modern marketing strategies. You will assist in developing marketing campaigns, generating sales leads, and engaging with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Research: Assist in gathering data on local market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer preferences.
• Lead Generation: Support the sales team by identifying potential clients and building targeted contact lists.
• Content Creation: Help create and schedule engaging content for digital platforms, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
• Sales Support: Shadow senior team members during client meetings, assist in preparing sales pitches, and follow up with prospective clients.
• Data Management: Update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate client information and interaction logs.
• Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and executing local promotional events, trade shows, or networking functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Business Profile, social media management) is a plus.
• Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft Office Workspace, Google Workspace).
• Ability to commute locally within Melaka.

Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Prior part-time experience in retail, customer service, or campus leadership roles is highly advantageous but not strictly required.

Hard Skills & Technical Abilities

• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively engage with a diverse local client base.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and managing local online presence (e.g., optimizing Google Business Profile listings).
• Proficiency in standard office applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) for data entry, presentation building, and sales reporting.
• Basic understanding of social media management and content creation for business platforms.

Soft Skills

• Proactive & Self-Motivated: A strong desire to learn, ask questions, and take the initiative on assigned tasks.
• Interpersonal Communication: Excellent conversational skills with the confidence to shadow sales pitches and speak directly with prospective clients.

Logistics & Work Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute reliably to the office and various client locations within Melaka.
• Availability to commit to an internship duration of at least 3 to 6 months.
