Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

What are you accountable for:

  • Coordinating and producing the proposal (RFI, ITT, RFP etc.) response whilst assembling a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process.
  • The introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, risk assessment, governance, processes, value proposition / strategy development, solution development, and commercial considerations.
  • Managing virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, pre-sales, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and service delivery and operations.
  • Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
  • Facilitating support to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and to provide clarification as needed.

What do you need to have for this role:

  • Proven experience in Bid Management for large, complex deals, preferably within the IT/Telco Outsourcing Industry.
  • Strong communication, project management & presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to facilitate key stakeholder meetings and subsequent action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and manage a complex team environment.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders
