The FP&A Associate supports financial planning, analysis, and governance for operating costs and capital expenditure within the Enterprise Division. This role ensures strong cost discipline, effective capex planning, and high-quality financial insights to support decision-making and business performance.
Cost Management & Analysis
Own operating cost (Opex) budgeting, forecasting, and monthly tracking for the Enterprise Division.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand cost drivers and provide insights on variances.
Perform monthly variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual) and explain key movements.
Identify cost optimisation opportunities and support cost control initiatives.
Capex Planning & Governance
Lead capex budgeting and forecasting for the Enterprise Division.
Track and monitor capex utilisation against approved budgets.
Ensure alignment of capex spend with business priorities and approved business cases.
Support post-investment reviews and benefits tracking where applicable.
Financial Planning & Reporting
Prepare regular management reports and dashboards on costs and capex.
Contribute to division-level forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
Work closely with the P&L-focused FP&A colleague to ensure consistency across financial views.
Business Partnering
Act as finance partner to cost owners and project managers.
Provide financial guidance to support operational and investment decisions.
Process & Governance
Improve planning, tracking, and reporting processes for costs and capex.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and approval frameworks.
Support audit and governance requirements related to cost and capex.
