Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

1. Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Own the end-to-end segment marketing strategy and planning for all B2B segments.
  • Align marketing and activation activities with segment sales objectives and customer needs.
     

2. Market Insight & Proposition Development

  • Champion market research, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies tailored to each segment.
     

3. Campaign, Event & Activation Execution

  • Lead the planning and flawless execution of integrated marketing campaigns, events, activations, and sponsorships.
  • Oversee logistics, budget, vendor relationships, and ensure impactful customer experiences.
     

4. Maxis Business Innovation Centre (MBIC) Management

  • Strategically manage and optimise the MBIC as a showcase for Maxis Business solutions.
  • Ensure premium customer engagement, daily operations, and technology infrastructure.
     

5. Sales Enablement & Lead Management

  • Equip sales teams with insights, training, and tools to engage prospects.
  • Establish and optimise lead qualification and handoff processes with Sales.
     

6. Performance Management & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs for all marketing, events, and MBIC activities.
  • Provide regular, data-driven performance reviews and actionable insights to senior management.
     

7. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage Segment Marketing, Events & Activation, and Innovation Centre Specialists.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence.
     

8. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison with internal teams (Sales and  Product/Solutions) and external partners (vendors, agencies).
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of all activities with business goals.
