Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

Voice practice of Maxis Enterprise Business is seeking suitable candidate to join our team as “Voice & UC Support Engineer” to expand the business.

As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving production issues, troubleshooting customer-reported problems, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the smooth operation of software and systems through maintenance and integrations.

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced hands-on person, someone aggressive, resourceful, responsible, reliable, experienced in technical support, alert in industry transformation trends and able to work as a team.
 

What are you accountable for?

  • Coordinate and manage technical support (e.g. on-site support, phone support, video call support…)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • To deliver an excellent support experience to our customers by working with them to solve the problems and answer the questions that they present to us in support tickets.
  • Perform “Managed Service” job scope to customers. (e.g. change request, generate reports, server monitoring...)
  • Perform preventive maintenance by conducting on-site visits to check and service the equipment installed at customer site
  • Manage open support case tickets between customers and principal / supplier
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors and recommend improvements
     

What do you need for the role

  • Formal Education: Degree or equivalent with specialized in: computer science, IT, telecommunication.
  • Work Experience: Relevant Years of Experience in Voice and UC Services
  • Significant experience in technical support.
  • Skills/ Knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in voice and UC field.
  • Pleasant personality and enjoy meeting people. 
  • Good working attitude.
  • Fast learner, responsible, aggressive and can work independently with minimum supervision. 
  • Computer literate. 
  • Continuously improve knowledge of existing and new products
