Job Description

  •  Assist in all documentation is uploaded in HR system, shared folder, and keep the hardcopy in personal file as a backup.
  • Support in the task contribution of statutory such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF and Income Tax is maintained for all employees and is calculated correctly.
  • Assist to prepare monthly payroll bank upload file and ensure the amount is tally with the approved payroll reconciliation.
  • Upkeep & update employees’ profiles in a timely manner in the system such as personal details update, employment status, and Statutory related systems
  • Issue out HR letters and contracts relating to an employee in a timely manner
  •  Act as a back-up person in charge during the absence of Senior Executive, Payroll for all payroll payment related.
  • Assist  in ER/IR matters which will include investigation, documentation and meeting minute taking
  • Respond to employee queries regarding salary, tax deductions, or pay slips.
  • Assist with audits, year-end tax filing, employee tax clearance and EA form generation.
  • Assist in preparing and ensuring the annual EA and Form E accurately and submission on time and ensure all the details are correct.
  • Assist keep update with the legal changes for Employment Act 1955, Employees’ Social Security Act 1969, Employment Insurance System Act 2017, Income Tax Act 1967, PSMB Act 2001, and others act related to payroll.
  • Responsible to monitor employee attendance and highlight tardiness issues. To also conduct daily checks if absences have been captured in the system with the right documents attached during submission
  • Ensure appraisals and confirmation of probationers are completed in a timely manner. This would include notifying line managers in advance and ensuring documentation is given
  • Update employee movements to the payroll system for monthly payroll processing

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Finance/Accounting or any related fields
  • At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field.
  • Preferable basic experience in payroll processing or HRIS support with various HR Systems exposure – InfoTech, HR2000 or equivalents
