Job Description

As a Video Content Creator, you will be working with others in conceptualising, filming, and editing engaging video content in line with the brand’s identity and objectives. This role requires a strong sense of storytelling, visual creativity, and awareness of social media trends to produce content that drives audience engagement and reach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, shoot, and edit engaging content (video, photo, graphics, captions) for multiple social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube).
• Keep up with social trends, pop culture, and emerging formats.
• Pitch new ideas for storytelling and content innovation.
• Assist in collaborations with media partners, influencers or any partnerships, including outreach, coordination, and deliverables tracking.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice, and visual identity.
• Collaborate with strategists and content creators for content execution.
• Work with sales executives to conceptualize and execute client social media campaigns.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or video production (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also be considered).
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Comfortable with appearing and speaking in front of camera.
• In touch with latest social media trends, pop culture, and emerging formats.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
• Strong understanding of the news media, local culture and languages
• Having an understanding in local politics is a plus
