 About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of our KL branch, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is organised, dependable, and able to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash movements.
• Process payments and maintain complete supporting documentation.
• Monitor operational expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial schedules, and ad hoc reports as required.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper audit trails and support external auditors during audit exercises.
• Ensure finance records are organised and maintained in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative and finance support for ad hoc projects and operational matters as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a regulated financial services, capital markets, brokerage, asset management environment
• Experience handling a full set of accounts is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Trustworthy, discreet, and able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
