Want hands-on experience fixing real hardware and systems while you learn? By working with us at Metasigma, you will support device fleets, assist engineers, and see how products are tested and deployed.

Your role is to build and scale our internal IT and hardware support processes, from setting up test benches to automating routine tasks. You will help make hardware development and day-to-day operations more reliable and faster.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Hardware & Systems Support

• Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic embedded hardware using standard troubleshooting steps.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and essential software on workstations and test devices.

Automation & Tools

• Help create simple scripts or jobs to automate repetitive tasks and speed up test setups.
• Assist in maintaining imaging tools, test benches, and basic lab equipment.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Log incidents, write clear troubleshooting guides, and keep inventory records for hardware and spare parts.
• Work with engineers to reproduce issues and support component testing during product cycles.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 0 years of professional experience expected; prior lab or personal projects are a plus.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic hardware troubleshooting and PC assembly or repair experience.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and basic scripting.
• Comfortable using version control tools such as Git and creating simple automation scripts.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can write concise documentation and explain technical steps to non-technical teammates.
• Curious, reliable, and comfortable working in a hands-on lab environment with attention to detail.
