About the roles
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating test cases, covering functional, technical and UI end-to-end tests for all products and features across MHub platforms. QA engineer works in conjunction with the team leaders to build and implement effective strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
What you'll do
- Test current product features and identify deficiencies.
- Suggest solutions to identified product feature problems.
- Perform end-to-end test and release of new features with top quality.
- Understand the new and existing product/feature in-depth from the end-user point of view and also the underlying implementation.
- Work closely with Engineering team, Product Managers and Customer Success team to understand and review new product requirements and be able to identify test conditions. To create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Debug failed test cases by analyzing logs and API responses and report bugs with details. Follow-up on bugs backlog until closure.
- Perform regular smoke and regression testing for teamโs features on top of routine testing of bug-fixes or feature development by engineers.
- Communicate with other functional team members when issues arise during testing or if blocked, to get clarification.
- Perform day-to-day tasks with minimum supervision.
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and ceremonies to ensure smooth communication and expectations between QA and engineering team.
- Identify, track and report key QA metrics for product quality clearly to communicate to the management.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in testing in a medium or large scale agile software development environment for Cloud, SaaS, Web applications, native iOS and Android applications.
- Experienced in different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and others.
- Strong expertise and skills in decomposing product requirements and designing test scenarios.
- Experienced in analyzing different types of technical testing, and choosing actionable items to troubleshoot.
- Knowledge and coding experience in the tech stack mentioned below.
- Experience with JIRA or other project tracking tools.
- Excellent team player, goal oriented, having high EQ with good communication and negotiation skills.
- Keen eye for details, critical thinker and problem-solver.
