Job Description

1.Content Ideation and Pre-Production

• Develop creative and engaging video concepts for campaigns, in-house content, and outdoor content.
• Conduct research on current video trends and audience preferences to craft impactful content ideas.
• Create storyboards, draft scripts, and plan resources, including talent, locations, and equipment.
• Coordinate pre-production tasks such as talent scouting, location scouting, and resource organization.

2. Video Production

• Act as both behind-the-scenes support and on-screen talent to bring video ideas to life.
• Assist in filming, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and audio quality.
• Manage logistics and ensure smooth execution during shoots.

3. Video Editing and Post-Production

• Edit videos using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut (JianYin) Pro or equivalent tools to deliver high-quality content.
• Review and refine edits to align with the desired storytelling, visual style, and project goals.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with the team to achieve polished final products.

4. Content Trend Analysis and Innovation

• Monitor and analyze video trends on platforms like XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Propose fresh content ideas inspired by current trends and audience preferences.

5. Project Coordination

• Manage schedules, logistics, and communications to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Maintain video production equipment to ensure readiness and good condition.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Comfortable and enthusiastic about being on-screen talent, with a natural presence in front of the camera.
• Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording is a plus.
• Strong interest in video trends, especially on platforms like XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Creative, with a good sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in both (Malay and English) or (Mandarin and English).
