The Executive is responsible to assist and work closely with Manager/Head of Learning & Development Department in planning, developing and implementing training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. This position supports the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by ensuring that employees are equipped with the necessary competencies and skills to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Training Program Development
Work closely with Manager/Head of Learning & Development Department to design, develop and update training programs to meet the organisation's needs and objectives.
2) Training Needs Assessment
Assist to conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organisation.
3) Training Coordination and Delivery
Assist in delivering training sessions, workshops, and seminars to employees, ensuring that the training is effective, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives, and manage logistical aspects of training programs, such as scheduling, room bookings, equipment setup, and participant registrations. Also responsible for sourcing & coordinating training selection process.
4) Training Evaluation
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. Analyse the data to make improvements as needed. This may involve collecting feedback from participants and using data to measure the impact of training.
5) Training Material Development
Compile training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other resources for easy access and reference to MIMOS staff.
6) Reporting and Documentation
Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to training activities, including attendance records, training materials, and assessments to track attendance, training completion and data evaluation.
7) Budget Management
Assist in the development and management of the training-related budget, including cost analysis and resource allocation.
8) HRD Corp (PSMB) Coordination
Coordinate and perform HRDC grant application submission and keeping track of HRDC budget allocation & claim.
9) Technology Integration
Stay current with training technologies and tools, and recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance training effectiveness.
