Job Description

- Develop and implement the IT audit strategy to align with organizational goals and objectives, considering emerging technologies and industry trends for current and effective methodologies.


- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT audits, including risk assessments, scope definition, and program development, evaluating infrastructure, systems, applications, and data management processes while assessing controls, security measures, and risk management.


- Ensure IT systems and processes comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards, staying updated on changes to incorporate into audit processes, identifying and mitigating IT-related risks and vulnerabilities


- Lead and guide a team of IT auditors, fostering continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and adherence to professional standards.


- Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to executive management and stakeholders, collaborate with business units to address issues, and provide guidance on IT control enhancements.


- Monitor and evaluate IT audit processes for effectiveness, recommending and implementing enhancements through tools and methodologies while contributing to IT governance policies and standards.


Job Requirements

1. Advanced knowledge in relevant professional frameworks such as Standards and Professional Frameworks, Risk Management, and Standards and Guidelines on Information Systems Audit required.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Systems field necessary.
3. Ability to effectively influence change in ambiguous situations and act as a change agent within the organization must be demonstrated.
4. Strong understanding of business environments and their impact on people, practices, and business acumen needed.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a blend of diplomacy and assertiveness in decision-making crucial.
6. Proficiency in overall IT infrastructures, processes, governance, audit standards, and risk management methodologies expected.
7. Leadership and organizational management skills required to drive change within the organization.
8. Strong business acumen demonstrated through understanding business environments and their impact on people and practices.
9. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines necessary.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with analytical abilities and proficiency in applying management principles essential.
11. Ability to create and deliver quality reports and presentations that effectively communicate information and ideas required.
12. Proficiency in program management essential to ensure the quality of assurance delivery and performance in achieving organizational objectives.
13. Strategic communication skills essential to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels needed.
