Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations and tax analysis.
- Analyse financial records and supporting documents to identify allowable deductions, capital allowances and tax adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation and e-filing of tax returns (Forms BE, B, P, C, E and others) within statutory deadlines.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) on client matters, including submissions, queries and follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing correspondence, tax appeals and responses to LHDN queries and audits.
- Maintain and update client tax files, records and databases.
- Support senior tax executives on ad-hoc tax research and assignments.
- 5 days working days (Mon-Fri) 8.30am-5.30pm.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the Income Tax Act 1967 and Malaysian tax principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of accounting or tax software is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Meticulous, responsible, eager to learn and able to work in a team.
