Job Description

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) to produce SEO friendly contents.
• Write clear marketing or educational copy to promote our products/services.
• Create script and storyboard for video. Prepare well-structured drafts
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Post content to social media channels
• Translate blog post to Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese
• Submit work to content manager for input/feedback and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles and develop content for advertising campaigns.
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Gather data for analysis
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Other administrative work assigned by manager or management

Job Requirements

• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Bachelor's degree in communications, law, marketing, English, journalism, or related field
• Prior work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with web publications and multiple social media channels: FB, IG, Tiktok, YouTube
• An eye for good design
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and fast-growing company
• The ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables concurrently
