Brief:

We are looking for a creative, motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our Retail team. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing, curating and publishing content across our social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement and traffic.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media strategy while contributing to real-world campaigns.

What You Would Be Working On:

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook & TikTok, etc.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, comments and engagement opportunities.
• Help brainstorm and execute social media campaigns and contests.
• Research industry trends and competitor activity.
• Create basic graphics, reels, or videos using tools like Canva or CapCut.
• Support the team in day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks related to digital marketing.
• Track analytics and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for social media, content creation, and digital trends.
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite or similar is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of image / video editing (bonus).
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
