Job Description

Brief

Our #MKASupplyChainTeam is expanding! We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support the procurement process by managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to meet the organization’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
  • Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and evaluate offers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Maintain and update supplier database, ensuring accurate contact and compliance information.
  • Follow up with vendors on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare purchasing reports and summaries for management review.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Min 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement systems / ERP software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of import / export processes.
