Job Description

  • Managing payment settlements to merchants in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Performing bank reconciliation on a daily basis. 
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive manner. 
  • Assist in local and statutory reporting matters. 
  • Daily accounting entries for incoming and outgoing payments. 
  • Ensure the weekly closing process is adhered to and complied with. 
  • Assist in analysis and number crunching for senior management. 
  • Ensure timely revenue and cost of sales recognition. 
  • Preparing daily cash flow reports. 
  • Maintain receipts and records for all the business transactions. 
  • Monitoring transactions, identifying irregularities in invoices, monitoring bank deposits, and payments, etc. 
  • Assist in financial audits. 
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. 
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures. 
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies. 
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. 
  • Take on ad-hoc projects/assignments from time to time.  

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting. 
  • Minimum experience in accounting and finance role of 4-5 years. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial planning & analysis. 
  • Professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) highly preferred.  
  • Experience in FinTech or Financial industries is highly preferred. 
  • Experience with an audit firm is an added advantage. 
  • Understanding of accounting systems such as QuickBooks is an added advantage. 
  • Good attitude & fast learner, with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
