Job Description

  • To prepare and manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
  • To prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and other accounting records with accuracy
  • To prepare and conduct month-end and year-end close process
  • To publish and present financial statements in a timely manner
  • To monitor cash flow and control expenditures
  • To analyze financial performance and prepare the budget and financial forecasts for costing, absorption, and inventory
  • To perform Payroll Administration and prepare monthly Payroll Report
  • To audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures (monthly Financial and Management Reporting, monthly Cash Flow Statements)
  • To prepare Audit Schedules, supporting internal and external audits
  • To plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor cost
  • To be up to date with financial policies, relevant regulations, and legislations
  • To liaise with auditors, bankers, company secretaries, tax agents, and relevant regulatory bodies
  • To handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

We are looking for a qualified finance executive to prepare, compute, manage, analyze and research all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on the business performance, financial position, and cash flows.

  • Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of solid experience in handling full sets of accounts, data entry, and account finalizing in the Retail, Manufacturing and/or E-Commerce Industry
  • Proficient in G-Suite programs, cloud-based software such as XERO Accounting Systems, BrioHR, Paypal, Stripe, Tradegecko, and Quickbook
  • Extremely organized, great at execution, and able to work autonomously
  • A diligent and proactive team-player, creative thinker, problem-solver, detail-oriented, and with a proven track record showing your responsibility and dependability
  • Immediate availability is preferred

Huge Plus if you have:

  • Business-centric mindset and ability to optimize cost, and maximize profit
  • Experience in gaining financial leverage using instruments from banks and/or other financial institutions
