Job Description

  • Improve the effectiveness of the Quality organization through effective leadership, individual and collective training, and process improvement.

  • Ensure that manufacturing engineering, supply quality and operations, and design engineering interact sufficiently through the programming planning process and design phase for seamless product transition, which includes facilitating DFMEA and design reviews.

  • Collaborative work with engineering and various functional organizations to ensure that all phases of the product lifecycle meet requirements for success.

  • Responsible for Quality Engineering and Inspection functions, quality planning, compliance adherence, and validation for systems, hardware, and inspection.

  • Develop data models and reports that provide insights into defect trends, severity, and risk areas.

  • Support defect prediction efforts by identifying key historical and real-time data points to forecast potential quality risks.

  • Designs and installs quality engineering processes, procedures, tools, and statistical techniques.

  • Designs and/or specifies quality control sampling and testing procedures.

  • Formulates quality control policies and procedures with other engineering disciplines, operations, and suppliers and analyzes the economic impact of any proposed quality control process.

  • Assesses customer and business impact from product quality issues, communicates issues globally and drives supporting teams for issue resolution.  

  • Analyzes production, supplier, and fulfillment standards and limitations and drives process improvements across teams to improve Quality KPIs.

  • Report Quality KPIs and improvement actions to the Senior Leadership Team and stakeholders.

  • Focuses on standards, methods, and procedures rather than on testing devices and equipment used to check products

  • Qualifies products and works with engineering and suppliers to ensure repeatable, robust processes are in place to maintain quality control and prevent future defects.

  • Analyzes product failures to determine root cause, generates failure analysis reports, and works in conjunction with engineering and suppliers to implement corrective actions.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering with prior working experience in quality. 

  • At least 10 years of experience in either product development or manufacturing. 

  • Certification in quality assurance, six sigma master black belt/black belt

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and influence stakeholders

  • Expertise in quality processes and metrics

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as EasyBI, Tableau

  • Proficiency in (Product Lifecycle Management) PLM 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in usage of quality tools.

  • Work and collaborate with a Global Workforce.
