The team source and manages a pool of qualified suppliers to support and enable our business' outsourcing needs.<h2> Job Description</h2>We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist, with at least 3 years prior experience in managing EMS category and suppliers. The responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Specialist includes but not limited to :<ul><li>Strategize and execute the EMS category strategy</li><li>EMS suppliers management, including suppliers relationships ownership</li><li>Conduct RFQ exercise, cost negotiations and project awards</li><li>Contract negotiations</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for issues escalations, internally and externally</li><li>Drive cost efficiencies and cost reductions</li></ul><h2> Basic Requirements</h2>In order to be successful, the candidate must have:&nbsp;<ul><li>At least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or any related field</li><li>Minimum 3 years procurement/category management experience as well as with proven track records in managing suppliers.</li><li>Effective problem solving skills, strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with people from various levels and functions.</li><li>Strong data analysis skills and good understanding in forecasting methods.</li><li>High proficiency in MS Office / Google Docs; specifically, advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Prior project management experience will be an added advantage.</li><li>Energetic, Positive and a Team Player personality.</li></ul><h2> Travel Requirements</h2>10-25%<h2> Relocation Provided</h2>None<h2> Position Type</h2>Experienced<h2>Referral Payment Plan</h2>NoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
