Move It Well is a Singapore-based active living and movement technology company and the exclusive distributor of Eulon walking-assist exoskeletons in Singapore. We are looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media & Content Creator Intern to help us grow our digital presence and introduce an exciting new category of movement technology to a wider audience.

You will be involved in the full content creation process — from identifying trends and developing creative ideas to simple scripting, filming, editing, writing captions and publishing content across our social media platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop creative social media content ideas relevant to Move It Well and our target audience.
• Identify current social media trends and creatively adapt suitable trends for our audience, particularly adults in their 40s to 70s and family members purchasing for their parents.
• Plan, film and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Create static and carousel social media posts.
• Write engaging, SEO/GEO-friendly social media captions to improve online discoverability.
• Create authentic, social-first content using practical tools such as smartphones, CapCut, Canva and similar platforms. We value strong ideas and storytelling over expensive equipment or elaborate production.
• Be resourceful in creating content even when customers or external talent are unavailable, including product demonstrations, POV videos, voiceovers, educational content and trend-based content.
• Be comfortable occasionally appearing on camera where appropriate.
• Work towards a regular content rhythm of up to 8 short-form videos and 4 static/carousel posts per month.
• Monitor basic content performance and identify successful topics, formats and ideas that can be developed further.
• Support content creation for selected Move It Well activities, including product experiences, Discovery Walks, exhibitions and other events.

The role is primarily remote and based in Malaysia, with planned travel to Singapore for content production, generally up to twice per month. Agreed travel expenses for required Singapore shoots will be reimbursed separately.

Strong performers may have the opportunity to convert to an ongoing part-time Social Media & Content role with Move It Well after the internship.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who is creative, curious and genuinely enjoys creating social media content. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should already have some hands-on experience creating content through personal projects, university activities, freelance work, previous internships or your own social media channels.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, Design or a related field. Candidates from other disciplines with a strong content portfolio are also welcome.
• Able to provide a portfolio or examples of social media content you have personally created.
• Strong creative instincts with the ability to identify interesting content angles and storytelling opportunities.
• Good understanding of social media trends and the judgement to determine which trends are appropriate for a particular target audience.
• Able to create content that resonates with mature audiences in their 40s to 70s.
• Comfortable filming and editing short-form videos using a smartphone and practical editing tools.
• Comfortable occasionally appearing on camera.
• Resourceful and able to create engaging content even when external talent or customers are unavailable for filming.
• Good written English and conversational Chinese and ability to write clear, engaging social media captions.
• Independent, organised and disciplined enough to work effectively in a primarily remote environment.
• Proactive and willing to propose ideas rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every piece of content.
• Open to experimenting, reviewing content performance and continuously improving what you create.
• Comfortable using AI tools for content ideation, research, scripting and productivity.
• Based in Malaysia and willing to travel to Singapore for planned content shoots up to approximately twice per month.
