The GTPC department in Malaysia is a centralized leadership of all import and export departments throughout Mr. DIY worldwide and central oversight of technology for shipment planning and execution, facilitating the movement of cargo to and from different countries. Planning, monitoring, measuring, and supervising import and export shipments to deliver compelling cost efficiencies and essential strategic capabilities. Managing stakeholders and ensuring that shipments comply with domestic laws as well as international export, trade and financial laws.

Join MR DIY’s New Country Expansion (NCE) team to gain hands-on experience in international market research (import, logistics, and product compliance). This role is ideal for students eager to understand how global expansion, import compliance, and operational optimization work in a leading retail chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the NCE team with research on new markets, competitors, and regulatory environments.
• Support product compliance and import-related assessments for new country launches.
• Contribute to optimization and restructuring projects, helping to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and data analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Law, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Interest in international business, logistics, and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
