Job Description

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and related documentation.
   
• Perform taking-off and cost estimation for pre-tender submissions.
   
• Assist Project Manager in post-contract administration, including variation orders (VO) and additional works.
   
• Prepare project budgeting, costing reports, and cost control analysis.
   
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation claims, and subcontractor claims.
   
• Measure and quantify construction materials and labour requirements.
   
• Negotiate and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts.
   
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
   
• Provide technical advice and cost support to project and site teams.
   
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
   
• Perform other related Quantity Surveying duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related fields.
   
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or cost management (pre- and post-contract).
   
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract administration.
   
• Experience in tendering, costing, variation orders, and claims handling.
   
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
   
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
   
• Good communication and negotiation skills with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
   
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other costing or QS-related tools.
   
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
