Job Description

Work directly with the Product Manager of a B2B Software Subscription to learn what it takes to serve hundreds of brands and stores across Malaysia and Indonesia to ensure their marketing goals are met.

This includes:

• Working with Python/R/Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets to produce reports which are required by clients
• Build clear data visualizations using matplotlib (bar/column charts) and seaborn (annotations, customizations).
• Measure and analyze customer spending and behavioural patterns: before, during, and after campaigns
• Working with the Client Success team to ensure that clients succeed in achieving their objectives when using SimpleLoyalty’s products
• Design and analyze natural double-blind tests to measure the true impact of campaigns and product changes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, hypotheses, and success metrics.
• Clean, process, and validate large datasets for analysis.
• Apply appropriate statistical techniques to ensure results are robust and unbiased.
• Compare customer behavior and outcomes across control and experimental groups.
• Present findings with clear visualizations, highlighting business implications.
• Provide recommendations to optimize future campaigns and experiments.
• Deliver outputs in the required formats (CSV, chart, dashboard, or report).

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, statsmodels) or R for statistical analysis.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, causal inference, and experiment design.
• Enjoys analyzing and and solving problems
• Ability to structure analysis logically and validate results.
• Good communication skills for presenting insights clearly.
• Eagerness to learn, iterate, and accept feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Bonus: Background in economics, statistics, data science, or related field.
