Job Description

The Interior Designer cum Site Supervisor is responsible for both design coordination and on-site supervision of interior renovation projects. The role ensures that design intent is accurately implemented on site, projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Technical Coordination
Prepare and revise interior design drawings (layout, 3D, detail drawings if required)
Interpret design concepts and translate into construction-ready details
Coordinate with clients on design requirements and changes
Work closely with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ensure all materials and finishes comply with approved design

1. Site Supervision
   Supervise daily site activities and progress of renovation works
   Ensure workmanship quality meets company and project standards
   Monitor site safety compliance and housekeeping
   Coordinate site schedule with subcontractors (carpentry, M&E, plaster ceiling, etc.)
   Conduct site inspection, measurement, and site handover preparation
   
2. Project Coordination
   Liaise between office team, clients, and site team
   Ensure project timeline is followed and delays are minimized
   Monitor material delivery and installation schedule
   Resolve site issues and propose practical solutions
   
3. Documentation & Reporting
   Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports
   Record site issues, variation orders, and instructions
   Assist in quotation checking and project costing input (if required)
   Maintain proper project documentation and photo records
   

Job Requirements

Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field
Minimum1–3 years experience in interior fit-out / renovation industry
Strong understanding of construction and site coordination
Able to read technical drawings and site plans
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and handle multiple sites
Willing to travel and work on-site (shopping mall environment preferred)
