Job Description
- Feature Ownership: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end features using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- API Development: Build and maintain performant, secure, and reliable APIs.
- System Design: Contribute to technical design discussions and help model solutions within our Domain-Driven Design (DDD) framework.
- Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in our backend services and databases.
Job Requirements
- Solid professional experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript, preferably using NestJS.
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and understanding data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
- A good understanding of software design patterns and principles.
Bonus Points
- Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, or event-driven systems.
- Experience with message queues (AWS SQS) or caching solutions (Valkey/Redis).
- Familiarity with core AWS services (e.g., RDS, S3, Lambda).
