About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, customer service excellence, and team development. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate staff, drive sales performance, maintain operational standards, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in creating a positive and high-performing work environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced setting. Weekend availability is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Drive sales growth through effective up-selling strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and operational excellence.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
• Monitor staff performance and provide continuous guidance, support, and development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and health & safety regulations.
• Coordinate with management to achieve operational and business goals.

Job Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a full-service or high-volume restaurant. 
• Proven experience managing restaurant operations serving up to 300 customers per day per outlet. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce. 
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. 
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control. 
• Experience in staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management. 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Good understanding of inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Proficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office applications. 
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts. 
• Experience managing an Indian or Asian casual dining restaurant is an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of Halal food handling, GMP, and food hygiene practices. 
• Ability to manage both dine-in, takeaway, catering, and online delivery platforms (GrabFood/Foodpanda). 
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and maintaining the Company's service standards.
