Job Description
Position : Full Stack Developer
Salary Range : RM 5,000 - RM 8,000
Location : Millerz Square, Old Klang Road
Working Hours : Monday - Friday (9.00am - 6.00pm)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend and full-stack features using Laravel and modern PHP.
- Build engaging, performant frontend experiences using React.
- Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to scope and implement new modules.
- Ensure performance, scalability and security of application components.
- Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code with automated test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Deploy features in a CI/CD environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and debug production systems.
- Maintain and optimise MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Integrate with REST APIs and third-party systems.
- Contribute to DevOps tasks, infrastructure management and cloud deployment.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject. Beneficial but not essential.
- 2+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Proven experience building full-stack web applications using PHP/Python and React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3) or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, preferably within the PHP/Laravel or Python/Django ecosystem.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g. GitHub Actions).
- Strong expertise in Laravel and modern PHP.
- Experience with React and frontend development best practices.
- Strong foundations in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of infrastructure, application architecture and deployment processes.
- Proficient in Git and version control workflows.
- Comfortable in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Be able to speak, read, and type in English. Proficient in Mandarin.
- Experience with Python for backend tasks.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with server-side rendering and SEO practices.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation.
- Passion for learning and sharing knowledge with teammates.
