Job Description

Position : Management Trainee 

Salary Range : Up to RM 5,000

Location : IOI Business Park, Bandar Puchong Jaya

Working Hours : Monday – Friday (8.00am – 5.30pm)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Management Trainee to join our Digital Process Optimization team. The successful candidate will embark on a structured development program, gaining hands-on experience across various departments to understand the challenges and inefficiencies in our current digital processes. This role will focus on data safety, improving work productivity, and enhancing the user-friendliness of internal systems and platforms. Through cross-functional rotations and mentorship, you will learn how to assess, propose, and implement digital solutions that optimize our internal operations. After completing this cross-functional training, you will be equipped to consult on optimizing digital processes both internally and for external clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cross Department Rotation:
  • Begin with rotating through different departments (e.g., IT, Operations, HR, Product Development, and Customer Support) to understand current workflows and digital processes. 
  • Analyze internal systems for areas of improvement related to data safety, work productivity, and user experience. 
  • Identify inefficiencies and collaborate with departments to propose digital solutions that optimize internal processes.

    2. Digital Process Assessment and Optimization:
  • Assist in assessing current digital processes across various teams, focusing on improving work productivity, reducing bottlenecks, and ensuring systems are user-friendly. 
  • Focus on improving data safety protocols, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data in compliance with best practices and regulations. 
  • Propose recommendations for optimizing internal tools and platforms to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance overall user experience.

    3. Data Security and Compliance:
  • Learn and assist in implementing best practices for data safety and compliance, ensuring that internal systems follow appropriate security protocols. 
  • Monitor and report on the integrity and security of data within the organization, suggesting improvements where necessary.

    4. Work Productivity Enhancement:
  • Support the development of internal strategies to enhance work productivity, such as improving task management tools, streamlining communication systems, and automating repetitive processes. 
  • Work closely with teams to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions that improve operational efficiency.

    5. User Experience (UX) Improvements:
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to improve the user-friendliness of internal software tools and platforms. 
  • Assist in conducting user research, gathering feedback, and implementing changes that make internal systems more intuitive and easy to use.

    6. Digital Solutions Implementation:
  • Participate in implementing and testing proposed digital solutions, ensuring that the enhancements align with business goals and meet the needs of employees across departments. 
  • Ensure the smooth transition from old processes to new, with minimal disruption, and support end-users in adapting to the new digital tools.

    7. Continuous Monitoring and Feedback:
  • Gather data and feedback on the effectiveness of implemented solutions, analyzing performance and proposing adjustments where necessary. 
  • Help maintain an ongoing feedback loop to ensure digital tools remain efficient and continue to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Job Requirements

  

  • A recent graduate or final-year student with a degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Strong interest in digital tools, process optimization, and improving data security. 
  • Basic knowledge or eagerness to learn about data safety, user experience design, and productivity tools. 
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to suggest creative digital solutions. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments. 
  • Enthusiasm for improving operational efficiency and enhancing user experiences through digital solutions.
