Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in daily stock and cash reconciliation activities.
- Assist in checking and verifying stock records against system data and physical stock counts.
- Support the reconciliation of daily cash collections and identify any discrepancies for further review.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining reconciliation reports and supporting documents.
- Assist in checking invoices, receipts, stock movement records and other relevant documents.
- Support the team in investigating and following up on stock or cash discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of reconciliation records.
- Assist with data entry and updating records in the relevant systems or spreadsheets.
- Perform other administrative and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
- Basic knowledge of stock, cash reconciliation, and data entry is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Good attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Responsible, organised, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Available to undergo an internship for a minimum period of 2months
