Job Description

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team full-time. This position plays a key role in supporting the Project Sales team by preparing project quotations, managing pre-contract documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth execution of interior and construction-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Sales in all quantity surveying-related tasks and project costing.
• Prepare project quotations and assist in tender submissions.
• Handle pre-contract documentation, including cost analysis, tender scopes, and sourcing suppliers/subcontractors.
• Analyze pricing, prepare cost comparisons and summaries, and develop competitive tender proposals.
• Prepare material specifications and appliance proposals in line with project requirements.
• Create sample boards and presentation materials for client meetings or tenders.
• Compile and submit tender documentation, including drawing proposals, project discounts, BQ rationalization, and variation orders (VO).
• Coordinate show units, mock-ups, and single sales orders.
• Liaise with suppliers for pricing, materials, and samples.
• Coordinate with internal departments on material samples and inventory.
• Conduct site visits and attend meetings when needed.
• Track project progress and report updates during daily check-ins.
• Develop and manage accurate project budgets and cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on project drawings and specifications.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet project goals.
• Carry out additional assignments as directed by Management.

Job Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Being multilingual, especially in Chinese speaker, would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with interior design, budgeting, and cost control is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Windows-based software.
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of contractual matters and project documentation.
• Confident, proactive, and able to manage deadlines under pressure.
