About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and driven Event Manager to lead and oversee the Events department while ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in team management, client servicing, and end-to-end event execution within a fast-paced environment.

The Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing Event Executives, Senior Event Executives, and interns, and ensuring smooth workflow coordination, operational excellence, and high-quality project delivery across all events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Leadership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end event planning and execution across multiple projects
• Ensure all events are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations
• Oversee on-site operations and act as escalation point during event execution
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all events

2. Team Supervision & Reporting

• Supervise and guide Event Executives team
• Review team deliverables including proposals, quotations, timelines, and reports prepared by team
• Allocate resources and coordinate manpower effectively across projects
• Consolidate updates and report project status to management

3. Client Management

• Act as key point of contact for clients for ongoing projects
• Understand client objectives and translate them into execution plans
• Support pitching, proposal development, and presentations
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction

4. Project & Documentation Management

• Oversee preparation of proposals, quotations, timelines, and post-event reports
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with client requirements
• Maintain proper project tracking and workflow coordination
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and deadlines

5. Budgeting & Cost Management

• Prepare and review event costing and budgets
• Monitor project expenses and ensure profitability through effective cost management
• Monitor expenses and manage financial tracking for each project

6. Vendor & Operations Management

• Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiation, and coordination
• Ensure vendors deliver according to scope, timeline, and quality expectations
• Manage logistics, manpower, and operational planning

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in an event agency environment
• Tech-savvy with strong digital and creative tool proficiency (Microsoft Office Suites, Canva, AI tools, etc.)
• Proven experience in end-to-end event management
• Strong skills in proposal writing, costing, and budgeting
• Experience in client servicing and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
